Purple Pansies

Monaco gardeners planting pansies outside the Casino and just in front of the Sky Mirror installation by Anish Kapoor. To see the full glory of this installation, please click on the link.

This beautiful garden is never allowed to look less than pristine and on the day I took this photograph, I saw at least 8 gardeners hard at work, replanting various beds.

We've got a sky Mirror too. It was the subject of one of my earliest photos.

I love this shot and thank you for the link to your previous post, as I haven't dug into your archives! There's nothing better than fresh landscaping.

Ah yes, I remember that place in front of the casino, the two statues there ;-)
There is a wonderful reflection in that silvery bowl.

What a fabulous shot!

I never used to like Anish Kapoor (the first time I saw an exhibition of his paintings I found them really disturbing), but I must admit I do really like some of his sculptures.
