The Photographer, the Model and the Fur Coat

The model and the photographer were yesterday and today - drum roll...a lady in a fur coat joins the scene. Slightly out of focus but then ladies in fur coats tend to swish.

I don't need to tell you my feelings about the wearing of fur but if you photograph Monaco you will see fur coats from time to time - so please don't shout at me. I'm simply the messenger.

Once again we are at the entrance of the beautiful Hôtel Hermitage.

I wonder what is going through the model's mind.... Maybe she's wishing she had a fur coat like that or maybe she's sad because she knows where those pelts came from.....

Swish!

And I see cymbidiums in full bloom - lovely!!

The model looks quite annoyed at the lady with the beautiful fur coat, whether she is jealous of the furs or angry at the wearing of fur who knows.
A photo of interest as are the next few, telling a story.

It's always interesting to see what develops when you stick around and "work" a scene. What a coat!!!

The beauty of France is in the air with the Spring season upon us. Fashion and flair are unfolding from the doldrums of the winter season as the French women show us.
merci beaucoup...

Classy, elegant, sophisticated ladies - great hotel entryway shots! I don't see many fur coats strutting around EAGAN.

Well if I had a mink coat, I'd SWISH too! :) Great shot Jilly. You were ready!

Wearing a fur coat depends upon the environment. While in Siberia many years ago during their winter, I saw many fur coats and hats which were not only acceptable but necessary in that frigid weather. I have inherited a fur coat which I occasionally wear. Don't support buying one to continue the cruelty, and I suppose I could throw it away..."The sins of the fathers..."

The photos speak volumes even without your narrative! If only the photo had a recording of what the people were thinking - or not thinking! :-)

Fantastic scene - may I remark that all three girls are blonde?

There's something in the fur coat lady that says that she's "old".

It seems to me that the wealthy coat she has replaces the youth she no longer has - am I right? Did you see her face?

I only caught a glance, Nathalie, but yes she is a lady of a certain age.
