This superyacht Amadeus is owned by French industrialist and art collector, Bernard Arnault.  Bernard Arnault is France's richest person and not long ago said he would take Belgian citizenship to avoid the very high French taxes but there was such an outcry he changed his mind! He's the chairman and CEO of the French conglomerate LVMH, the largest luxury-products company in the world - Louis Vuitton and so on.

Amadeus was built  in 1969 as a research vessel and was converted to a superyacht in 2007. She has an icebreaker hull.

It seems many of the yachts list George Town (Cayman Islands) as their registration. Is this just a tax convenience?

By the way, Bernard Arnault is Mr. Selma Hayek, isn't he?

The Caymans hold a British infrastructure which I am sure is appealing apart from that the surrounding waters are very clear making it extra safe when sailing a plus million dollar vessel. It also completely considered completely offshore and I am sure that has its tax advantages...,

That's Louis Vuitton, Moet Hennessy to be exact. Sounds like an interesting and solid feller, tats has been a solid stock for me and my modest investing-Leo
