La Spiaggia

La Spiaggia is the beach at the far end of Larvotto, with its own restaurant, beach loungers and so on.  I must have walked along here a thousand times and never noticed the plaque of the late Prince Rainier on the wall above.  And if you click to enlarge the photo below, what about the fearsome animal about to pounce?

It looks like an iguana to me, actuallly. How feasible that is I do not know. Goodness.

Nonetheless, awesome pictures and article Jilly. Keep them coming.

Barbara, Jilly is referring to the animal by the La Spiaggia lettering in the last photo, near the flag and on the railing. Thank God the bench below is empty.

Hello R.
Yes, of course! Thanks for your hint!
It seems to be a bit too big for a domestic cat. Looks rather like a black panther :-) or just black foil which protects some cables or so...
Curious to learn what it is!! I'm sure that one of the readers will go and take a look! Please inform us!
