I've never seen anything like it. :) Sounds like a safe place!

That's a bit surprising!

If you have a weak heart, always remember to have a companion with you. Running even 80 meters is not good for you when you've had a heart attack. Is the third sign pointing to a chapel (as in place of worship, as in you didn't make the 80 meters)? Seriously, a very good initiative in Monte Carlo.

Funny - the sign encourages you to walk briskly...and overall it has a happy appearance ;-)

And you have such health stick figures to run after the defibrillator. In the US we would have to show an overweight stick figure crawling to the defibrillator.

Hope your heart goes well? ;-)

An unusual grouping of messages, dont you think?

80 kilometres seems like a long way to me if I need a defribillateur.

The defibrillator is a good idea! I've never seen a sign like that in a city before.

Yes, I hope you are in a "fit" state to walk there!

Top marks for a unique sign!

lol Denton! :-D

Jilly, you've told us this before, about Monte Carlo having Defibs all over town. But why is this? Is heart disease a major problem in Monaco?

Jilly said...

Ann, in fact this is a very healthy place to live - Mediterranean diet and all that jazz. It's simply a facility available to all residents and visitors to the Principality. Certainly Monaco has its share of older retired people but it's not only older folk who have heart attacks.

What a great shot for our theme day! Very original and makes one feel good about the government of Monte Carlo's preparedness efforts!

Interesting but it makes so much sense.

Maybe with all the money on display with yachts, sports cars etc would give most people a heart attack, or certainly a pang of jealousy.

information that is good to know!

And if the defibrillator doesn't work, you can always look for help at La Chapelle.

Great photo.

Ah ! They probably put it near to Casino too. So if people lose too much money cannot have an heart attack :-)
