The Cellars of the Hôtel de Paris - the Sommelier

Meet Dominique, Chef Sommelier at the Hôtel Méridien, Monaco. Like all good sommeliers, Dominique's passion for wine is evident and at the moment he's offering lessons in wine at the Méridien Hotel - much more than a simple wine tasting and a great chance for anyone wanting to learn.

In the smaller photograph, meet our host, Nicolas, well-known in Monaco in the world of hotels and restaurants - and enjoying his retirement.

Thank you, Nicholas for the invitation to this truly fabulous experience.

I must show this photo to my own grandson, Dominique, not that I'm promoting wine for him at his tender age. Both Dominiques, mine and "yours" are quite handsome.

Extraordinary series. Thank you.

When I saw your photo on the City Daily Photo thumbnails, I thought you were going back to do another installment in your series on Monte Carlo men.

I am sure that both of these men drive nice cars.

Both men seem to really enjoy their work although it must not be easy. From what little reading we have done with regards to wine and liquors--making a good one is difficult!!

So, they have a talent for sure.
