Perfect timing for this photo. It is post-Thanksgiving shopping mayhem--stores are opening at midnight, 3:00, 4:00 here in the US. I'll be staying home and avoiding the insanity. Thanks for this bit of zen.
Jilly, do retailers in France ever do this during the Christmas season?
I've never heard of opening during the night. Sometimes nearer to Christmas, shops will open an hour or so later but not much. The French like their dinners too much!
Good to hear that the French still have their priorities straight and hold some traditions dear--like food!
