The Wedding: Clean-up at the Palace

In five short months, Monaco will celebrate the wedding of Prince Albert and Charlene Wittstock and there's a lot to do!

Not least - the palace. Here you see the facades are undergoing a massive clean-up.

There's also a big renovation going on at the Hôtel de Paris on Casino Square which is where many of the most prestigious guests will stay.

And THE dress? That will be designed by Georgio Armani.

It doesn't look like the Palace was dirty and needed sprucing up.

I had the same thought too, Dave. It always looks pristine to me.

If they think the building is dirty, then they need to see some of the buildings here.

Anonymous - I do wish you'd give your name! You are right, of course, and I know that! Half asleep yesterday morning...thanks.

Do you need someone to carry your camera bag for the "princely" wedding? I'm good at carrying a camera bag and I do have a tuxedo!

I wish you were getting an invitation to that wedding so that we could get up close and personal Jilly photos, especially of the dress! :)
