Walk to Monaco

Monaco seen from the point of Cap Martin.  You can walk along the Promenade Le Cobusier all the way from here to Monaco.

We plan to complete it this year. We managed to do half a couple of years ago. It's a fabulous walk!

You can always tell where the border stops with Monaco, as the areas right outside Monaco can be quite rural and undeveloped. It makes for quite a contrast and provides a relief for anybody who finds Monaco too crowded.

Whenever I travel to Monaco from the east, whether by car or train, and the route makes the first turn that provides a glimpse of this view, it's always such a delight to see.

I walked Le Cobusier almost two years ago. There is one section where one walks across a metal pathway mounted against the concrete wall overlooking the sea.

This would be a fun walk to take. We hope to come back one of these years.

This is my favorite walk - I used to jog here in the 80s - on the coast. Compared to the Cap d'Antibes walk more scenic and the environment is more accessible.

That looks like a great promenade (with camera of course).
