Heart attack!

If you've got to have a heart attack, then have it in Monaco. You'll find these machines all over the place - or rather the person who saves your life will. This was taken facing the port - on the left you can just see a part of the stands up and ready for the Grand prix which takes place on the last Sunday of this month.

Daunting. Necessary, but still daunting in my eyes!

Wow, one more new and amazing thing I've learnt on a DP blog! Do you follow Formula 1, and if so, who do you support? I used to be a huge Montoya fan, and remember fondly his win at Monaco - it was one of few, after all. :)

No way!!

Are they not abused??

Funny name for a defib 'Heartstart' my (limited) understandng is that they stop your heart when in a 'dodgy' rhythm and allow it to start itself in sinus?

Very impressive though.

We don't have them around here on display. Hopefully, alot of people know how to use them.

What a perfect location for it - the Grand Prix is often a heart stopper!

Kerry-Anne, I don't follow Grand Prix all the time but always watch the Monaco GP of course. This year I'm watching the new English driver - he seems to be pretty amazing and currently leading the drivers' championship, even tho he's not won a race yet. Otherwise I like Jensen Button. You can tell I'm English!

Isn't that amazing and thoughtful. Though if they'd been anywhere else they'd have been vandalised by now.

This is interesting but, at my eyes, not necessary if not dangrous (used when it's not an heart attack).

Then it's very interesting to see that Formula 1 work to prepare the race there in Montecarlo. Me too I like Lewis Hamilton !
