Very cool, can you picture that rolling down the street, I guess it was pulled by horses?

I've never seen a ladder on wheels before, but it does make sense to be able to get a strong ladder closer to a building. And of course it is a red ladder. Are the fire engines still red in Monaco and southern France?

I wish our new ladders had wheels. Might help when cleaning out the gutters.
