Miami Plage, Larvotto Beach

Early morning. Most of Monaco is asleep. Soon the day will burst into life but for a few precious moments, the beach is ours.

Is that Miami PlaGe? I thought maybe they mis spelled it.

It is a nice photo Jilly. And so peaceful in appearance and quite different from your jaunts up and down the surrounding mountains.

Crumbs, Fancy going to the beach to stare at 10,000 umbrellas. You may never see the sea. Like at the football when it's raining.
Umbrellas are the curse of society.
Apart from that, this beach, (plage, in French, M. Lincoln), is magnificent. Just needs some Aussie waves.
But, "When in Rome". I'm just jealous that you have it and we don't. But not for long !

I hate to think That the people sleeping in the big cruise ship will in a few hours be crowding this peaceful beach!!...

A sea of umbrellas as well!

Too bad some of the umbrellas aren't more colorful, but you did catch it pretty lonely looking.

Eep, you can hardly see the beach! That place gets filled up? Give me a beach in the middle of nowhere any time.

Yes I love beaches early morning when they are deserted.

The cruise ship makes for a good focal point behind the beach. Nice picture.

Kitty, plage means beach in French.

Hilda, This is a private beach, meaning you have to pay to use the chairs so it doesn't get that crowded.

You often have private beaches in France and in Monaco. I don't know what it costs to sit on this particular beach but in Menton, around 8 euros per day I believe.
