Lady on Bench

Copyright 2009 Monte Carlo Daily Photo. All rights reserved.

It's been a while since we had a Monte Carlo lady, so here's a pretty one on the Rue Princesse Caroline which is the pedestrian street leading up from the port. This street has benches in various places all the way up, so there's a usually somewhere to sit and chat.

I was intrigued to see what she was reading - looks like a guidebook perhaps?

This is a great portrait, Jilly. I maxed the photo to see the book that she's reading. Looks interesting.

I haven't been faithful about blogging and commenting lately because we decided to paint every room in the house, both ceiling and walls. What a job, and we've just barely begun; it takes longer than we had thought. But I'll be back sporadically!!

Yes, I've missed them, and of course the cars!
She's got a phrase book. Perhaps she's a tourist and needs to translate the French into English. I know I would when I visit sometime in the near future.

Bonjour!

Lovely photo. And she has a Harrap's dictionary (it looks like to me anyway).

I wondered about the book too. I'd like to think it was a Romance.
