Lunch break

We're on the Rock today. Le Rocher is the oldest part of Monaco and it's where you'll find the Palace, the Cathedral, the wonderful Oceanographic Museum and much more besides. Here is one of the tiny streets at lunch time.

Tourist season in full swing, I see ;-)
The surroundings are lovely, though...

Cowboy boots and shorts on the dogwalker. Tourist? Could be a local...well maybe not. :-)

Oh, I could sit down there and have a long cool drink as easily as....

A nice shot of "back treet" Monaco, which you rarely get to see.

I must admit to an almost lifelong fascination withe Monaco Grimaldis. It is hard to think of a bigger royal anachronism than that lot! Have they worked out the line of succession yet if Albert fails to reproduce?

The colors make lunching here look so inviting.
