What caught my eye about this car is first of all the number plate - 50005 - and then that it's registered in Nassau in the Bahamas. Long way to bring a car, I thought. It was parked at the prestigious Chèvre d'Or Hotel in Eze village.This posting is for Gail's Man at Nottingham Daily Photo who is somewhat Monte Carlo car deprived at the moment...Happy New Year, Gail's Man! I think this is a Mercedes. Right?

Thanks Jilly. Yes it's a Merc. A very nice & rather expensive sports coupe. Obviously belongs to someone very rich, as it would cost a lot to ship it across, unless of course, the owner has a very big yacht & there's room for it on board.
Interesting registration plate, they use a similar system in Dubai. Couldn't do it in the UK, as there's millions of cars & lorries here!

Hi, I was in EZE yesterday (March 8th) and the car is still there, exactly in the same place. I have seen the driver too and I believe he is the owner of the hotel.

I saw this car on the 30th of november 2010. twice that day.
First in monaco in front of the casino. Saw the guy leaving in it.
Then i saw it in Eze near our hotel parked on the same spot it is on the picture. I even got a picture from the owner.
I've seen the car yesterday 1st of August 2011, in the same place (Eze). So, I think also is the owner's of Chèvre d'Or. Nice car. Nice picture.
Yes, the car is there everytime I go to Eze. You could well be right about who is the owner...
