he's waiting, but something in his posture tells me he's not the patient type. :) great photo!

Nicely interpreted. Love the black and white, the vintage feel.

Great shot! I love the the B&W and perfect tone.
Meg had keep telling me to take a shot of waters, and I was saying that "we have to go somewhere a waiter is working". It wasn't happened in time and not yet...

I thought about using a waiter for my shot, but could never find the right atmosphere. Very nice indeed.

He may be waiting now, but I bet later in the day it will be the patrons who are waiting for him!

I love the literal quality of your choice! It's a gorgeous shot, too.

Maybe even the credit crunch has reached Monaco. Looks great in monochrome.

Very nice! Waiters have to wait a lot - wait for the customers to arrive, wait for the customers to make a decision, wait for the food, wait for the customers to finish eating, wait for their tip ...

I like the b&w, too!

But how many of us have spent how much time waiting for the waiter? I must say, though, that I've had less trouble with that in France than in the US. French waiters are professionals, more often than not. In the US, they're mostly looking for the next job.

Ha ha! I'm not surprised to see a clever post like this from you, Jilly. Extremely well done for Theme Day especially in monochrome.

Beautiful B&W photo! I love the aprons waiters wear...wouldn't mind if he waited on me :)

Great composition in B&W, the geometry of his body and the white sleeve make it superb! Thank you so much for your kind words.
