Daily Photo Theme Day: The Colour Red

This was an easy Theme Day for Monte Carlo DP. Just take a stroll around Casino Square and you'll find a red Ferrari. You'll also find visitors queuing to pose with the car for a photograph! Mostly men, I might say although I chose to photograph a young lady doing her thing. Do please visit other Daily Photo bloggers who have seen red in their city. A total of 100 are participating in today's Theme Day. You can also take a look at the Daily Photo portal.

I agree, quite appropriate for the location! I've never thought about posing along with the car -- maybe because I'm usually the one behind the camera. :-p

I think there must be a lot of beautiful racing cars at Monte Carlo? I've seen some other posts of you posting nice racing cars too. :)

I want to be the one who's standing next to the Ferrari. :p

Great shot.

LOL

When we go for a White theme day you can photograph the Rolls Royce in the background...

Funny to pose with a car however I have seen this done before. If I selected a car to pose with a red Ferrari would be my choice. Maybe a mid-life crises thing ... Once in Hawaii some Japanese tourist asked to pose with a friend of mine. I guess they wanted to pose with the equivalent of a Ferrari. I think I am more a Chevrolet body style so that may explain why they asked me to take the photo instead of being in the photo.

So red, so South, so...Ferrari!

When I think of red, Ferrari red often comes to mind. You'll be hard pressed to find a Ferrari where I am from. They can be found, but only in the warmer months of the year.

wow, is that Ferrari Enzo? Awesome car!

Fabrizio Zanelli said...

iblowfish, you centered the point, yes it's a Ferrari Enzo. Thank you Jilly to this tribute to Ferrari that, useless to say, make with MonteCarlo an exceptional mix !

Are those the flags of Monaco? OR are they symbols of the car race?

Love your interpretation of the theme.

Ferraris are one heck of a car. It must be great to have so many around! :)

This car is very similar to one that I have in my studio - Hot wells - of course.

I am so glad for your visit and thank you very much for your commentaries.

I hope I have the opportunity to show, in person, the wonders of Mexico city.

I bet Ferrari's are 10 a penny in Monte Carlo. But I bet you never see a Skoda!

Excellent choice Jilly!

There is only one Ferrari in South Shields owned by a wealthy business man, when I need to see the red beauties I have to travel to Donnington Park, or another race circuit.

We don't see many Enzo's roaming the streets of Norway, but I bet there are quite a few in Monaco. Beautiful car. The one behind it doesn't look too shabby either, and I wouldn't mind being caught driving the one to its left either.
