Hot yellow

It seems logical, with all the luxury in Monte Carlo, to have a 'cars' section so here's one to add to it. Taken outside the Hôtel de Paris, this is (I think?) a Lamborghini - and if it isn't I know one of you guys out there will correct me! And thankyou to iBlowfish who, on Theme Day, pointed out that the Ferrari was a Ferrari Enzo and to Fabrizio who confirmed it. It's so usual to see a Ferrari in Monte Carlo but I knew that one was different! - but didn't know what the difference was. My favourite UK television programme is Top Gear, so I should know these things, shouldn't I?

And for those of you not into cars, I hope you enjoy the rather beautiful entrance to the hotel.

I suppose when you are around all the wealth in the world that it becomes common. I would not know what to do with more money than it takes to buy a Porsche.

Another nice car. Yes, you should know, if you like that TV show. It's a Lamborghini Gallardo Nera, I believe.

Gallardo for sure, very nice Jilly, should I post a picture of my humble Nissan?

Bet 'normal' cars are rarer in MC than all these expensive boys toys. I enjoy Top Gear too. It's quite an amusing programme.

Can we have some of your sunshine?

Well...it may be a surprise...but I would prefer to work in this hotel than to have this yellow car ;-) (I just finished my studies in Hotel Management, so this 5* star hotel is a dream to work in)!

This kind of luxury car is one of the typical things I know about Monte Carlo, but through your blog, I hope to see much more than that.
