ARTMONACO - Bruce Denny's Interaction

As you walk towards these shiny figures you think they must be ice sculptures or at the very least glass, but in fact they are made of an unbreakable substance (I forget the name). Bruce Denny is a British sculptor, living and working in London. You can read more by clicking on the link.

The small photo on the left is the one I hoped would work but it is not as sharp as I wanted, hence using another as the main shot.

I immediately thought they were ice. Very interesting. I wonder what the substance is.

I wonder why they are sitting back to back. I think they communicate better if the were sitting side by side or facing each other.

Very, very cool - glass figures - wonderful! I'm surprised they let you take photos - or were you "sneaky?"

Lefi,
Everyone was delighted to have their art photographed. In fact, some artists asked me to send my shots which I will do. This particular artist asked this too - a very nice young man, he was.

I like these sculptures. Whatever the material is, it gives a nice effect.

Ice, ice, baby.

You seen to be having the best time at the moment Jilly, car shows now rubbing shoulders with artists.

Wish I could write this in green ink, to show how jealous I am!

I immediately had the feeling that a James Bond villain was involved in freezing two people into crystals. It's an interesting concept - the work retains human shapes but all the substance has been sucked out of them.
