Jardin Exotique - the Sun Goes Down

The sun is going down and it's time to leave the Jardin Exotique. There are more photographs, many more, perhaps a few will turn up from time to time, but meanwhile, time to move on - Larvotto Beach calls...summer is here.

Thanks so much to everyone who has followed this little series and to those who have kindly commented.

Thank you for your tour of the Jardin Exotique. For people like me who have lived in desert climates such as Arizona, it is interesting to see cacti and succulents in gardens around the world. We sometimes forget that such plants are considered exotic by others.

When my wife, who has lived in Arizona all of her life, sometimes comments about how many trees there are, and how green and large they are when we travel, I sometimes reply that to people who have not grown up in the desert, what she is commenting upon is considered normal.

Thanks so much for the great tour. I was amazed at all the cactus and plants that Arizona shares with this beautiful garden. Now if only we could get that ocean view! :-)

If I'm guessing right, that looks out onto the ocean? Oh that's nice, very nice!

I love the garden and the sculptures, especially. Every time I visit with you I'm amazed how much there is to see in tiny Monte Carlo.
