Expo Ecofuturiste: Le Collier - Franz Stähler

German artist, Franz Stähler, started creating sculptures in ceramic. In 1987 he won the 'Premio Faenza' for ceramic sculpture. Since then he's worked in other materials and his work has become more focused on the environment. Here you see 'The Necklace.'

'I want to draw attention to the issues of nature and to create new avenues for exchange' - Franz Stähler.

fantastic pic and wonderful work of art. I really like outdoor art. It is great to share art with as many as possible. So many won't go out of their way to visit a museum so putting it on the street or in a park is making it more available.

I would like to have just one or two of the pieces not the whole necklace out in my pasture. I wonder what the horses would think. I do think it could really make a statement. MB
