Daily Photo Theme Day: Bridges

A temporary bridge but an iconic one for Monte Carlo at Grand Prix time. This bridge gives access to those holding tickets for stands in the port area. Anyone who has watched the Monaco Grand Prix, here or on television, will know this bridge is right by the Start/Finish line.

Today is Theme Day for the Daily Photo Family with over 120 of us posting photographs of a bridge from our city or town. Do take time to visit and enjoy:

It sure is nice to see a human bridge. I like this one. At least you could jump from it and survive.

Nice perspective - were you visiting your rich friends in town at the time? ;-)

A great view looking down on what we call a sky bridge.

Jilly, how delightfully COOL and DIFFERENT! I am tickled by your bridge selection.

Chris said...

Interesting, Jilly! From where did you take the photo?

Jilly said...

Isabella, yes I was visiting them - and Chris, these are friends who live fairly high up in an apartment block opposite the Grand Prix track. He is a retired F1 driver, hence living where he does. He always wanted to move and his friends would never let him - his apartment - and balcony - giving a perfect view of the race each year, of course.

Yes, a bridge I have seen from a place I have only dreamed of visiting. Love the boats in the background and the your comment your the retired F1 driver who's friends will not allow him to move.

Very original bridge theme post and pedestrian friendly.

I wonder how long it takes to erect and dismantle?

Great shot.

Thanks for visiting my NorthBayPhoto blog. Thanks for the comments about the snow bridge even if it makes one fell a little chilly. But I know where to go when the snow gets too much for me, I can always return to your blog for the wonderful summer time feel!
