Landing

This will be a very busy area today, with helicopters ferrying passengers from Nice airport to the Heliport of Monaco in time for Christmas. You can see Cap Martin in the distance. Menton is beyond that.

Interesting way to travel, isn't it?

Precisely the way I'd imagine Santa Claus would arrive in Monte Carlo.

That would be interesting to make such a trip.

And have a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year.

This is a great way to reach Monaco from Nice Airport. It takes no time at all and one has the most stunning views of Nice, Cap Ferrat and the coastline. And I believe a one-way fare for one person costs less than a taxi !!!

Oh my goodness, how did you get that photo unless you were standing at the end of the structure somewhere.

Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year to you and your doggies.

Wow, that's cool. I don't think there is anywhere to land a helicopter in Dunedin.

Merry Christmas!

I wonder if there are terribly long lines at the Nice airport for this ride?

I sure hope everyone gets to where they want to be in time for Christmas!

Hi Isabella - thanks for all your encouraging words and visits throughout the year.

Festive greetings of the season, whatever the festival or season means for you!

And see you in 'o8....perhaps not by helicopter ;-)

Creative use of space, isn't it, to attach only a portion of the heliport to the earth. I never would have believed it could be done--thanks, Jilly!
